Information for Student Nurses

Dear Student Nurse,
Welcome to BroMenn!  We are excited that you will be participating at BroMenn Regional Medical Center for one of your clinical experiences, and hope that you find your experience here challenging and rewarding, as well as educational. We provide high quality nursing care at BroMenn and our nurses are proud to share their expertise with you.

There is a wealth of information in this orientation document that will assist you during your time at BroMenn. This document will help familiarize you to the hospital environment. Please take the time to carefully review the contents. Your instructor will cover unit-specific information such as expected attire, and you will receive instruction for our clinical documentation systems prior to beginning your experience in the clinical area.

A map of the BroMenn campus is located in this information. Please park in one of the designated employee parking lots upon your arrival. During the hours of 0600-midnight, a free shuttle service is available from parking lots A, B& C with service to the Atrium. Please feel free to use our employee cafeteria, located in the lower level, and Atrium Café, Atrium Pharmacy, and Atrium Boutique, all located in the Atrium through the main entrance of the hospital.

You are also welcome to participate in any of the BroMenn-sponsored employee activity events and any of our inservices or educational programs. Flyers are posted throughout the facility and also on the BroMenn Intranet. Each contains contact or registration information for the event.

We value the relationship we have with students of all disciplines and strive to make this experience as meaningful and as educational as possible. We encourage you to contact any department director or to visit the Human Resource office if you have any questions about future employment, scholarships, internships, or other BroMenn programs.
